Anon looks uneasily at the sunset. For some reason, he feels nervous at the thought of leaving the mansion at night.

"If you leave the mansion tonight, you will most likely be ripped apart by Youkai," Patchouli says. Anon turns to see her expression covered by the book.

"Yeah, I know. I was thinking of finding a way to the Human Village, but walking seems out of the question."

Anon realizes why she gave the orb earlier. But before he can ask, Patchouli speaks again.

"That was my last orb set for the Human Village. I have others, but they are set for more dangerous places. I will need some time to create another one."

Anon looks carefully at Patchouli. She hasn't turned a page for quite some time. She seems to be intentionally hiding her expression behind the book.

"So what should I do, then?", Anon asks. Patchouli pauses for almost a full minute before replying.

"Koakuma, come out here," she said toward a nearby shelf.

Anon turned to see Koakuma walk from behind a shelf. She is visibly blushing.

"I didn't want to interrupt you two," she muttered.

Anon looks back to Patchouli and sees that she has put down her book. She has a serious expression. Her eyes are unreadable. But unless Anon's eyes are playing tricks on him, her cheeks seem to have a light tinge of pink.

"Koakuma will lead you to one of the guest bedrooms. You are not to come in contact with the other inhabitants of the Mansion. Your ability is quite unique, but it won't be enough to protect you if you are seriously attacked."

Anon stares blankly back, trying to make sense of what she just said.
